After seeing the disaster in Japan and the aftermath, the Japanese Student Association has come together and brainstormed fundraising ideas.  Besides selling wristbands and candy we are also planning an auction/fundraising dinner for Japan.  So far in addition to the success of the wristbands and candy we have made great progress in moving forward with the dinner. I know I have not blogged in a while and gave up on trying to update everyday about the Japan disaster.  However, I have been busy taking action for Japan.  Good news as you can see from my twitter account is we have been busy collecting donations on SJSU’s campus.  So far we have raised close to a $1,000 in two weeks.  Thank you  to all of your support for Japan.  We are selling wristbands at $2 for Japan.  Please let me know if you would like to purchase a wristband we are almost sold out so hurry to receive your wristband today! Not only do Japanese People have perseverance and compassion but so do the animals.  In the video below this dog would not leave his injured friend after the Japan disaster.
