Looking to give back to a community near San Jose State University?  Japantown is the perfect place.  Some of the places I volunteer at are Yu-Ai Kai the senior center, the Japanese American Museum of San Jose and Lotus Preschool.  All of these establishments are amazing places to volunteer because time flies!  The atmosphere is friendly and non-stop fun so by the time you glance at your watch 2 hours just went by.  People think they can’t volunteer because they have no room in their schedule, the important thing to remember is you donate what you can.  Even if it is only an hour once a month, it still helps!
