Tomorrow is Kimono Day at Yu-Ai Kai Akiyama Wellness Center from 1-5 p.m. on 110 Jackson Street.

Tickets are $30 for general admission, $20 for SV-JACL and Yu-AI Kai Senior Club members, $15 for students, and $10 for children under 12.

John Marshall who is a craftsman will be presenting a historical and cultural perspective kimonos have had, as well as a demonstration on how to dress in kimono.  In addition there will be a fashion show of contemporary and traditional Japanese clothing which will be for sale.  Crafts and activities will be available for children.

Here is my very first podcast! I edited it on Audacity and must say the background music took forever to find.  It is a short blurb about Japantown in San Jose, hope you all enjoy!  In order to post this to YouTube I had to edit it in Final Cut Express.  A tip that helps is when importing old video clips into FCE, save the format as HD and it will import.
